REMBRANDT PAPER BLOCKS

Like Rembrandt colour products, Rembrandt paper meets the very highest standards. This is why only the best raw materials are used as a base. In the production process we of course emphasise craftsmanship and quality control. Careful inspection before and during the process consequently ensure that you are getting the very best available in this field. All Rembrandt paper types are of course acid-free, pH-neutral and free of optical whiteners, guaranteeing the best possible results and long life.

Rembrandt Oil Colour Paper
A sturdy quality oil colour paper (230 g/m2) with a fine linen structure. The paper is universally prepared and hence also suitable for acrylic.

Rembrandt Acrylic Paper
Very heavy paper (350 grams!) of 100% high-quality cellulose. The paper has been developed in co-operation with acrylic painters to meet the specific acrylic requirements. It contains no optical whiteners, so that it does not yellow.

Rembrandt Water colour Paper
A high-quality watercolour paper manufactured from 100% cotton fibre. The paper is acid-free and glued with gelatine. This combination guarantees good durability, excellent washability and ease of paint application. A unique feature of Rembrandt Water Colour Paper is that it is produced on a cylinder mould machine. This method of manufacture produces an extremely strong paper. As a result Rembrandt Water Colour Paper can also be easily used with other paints such as acrylic and gouache, and with pastels, charcoal, ink and (coloured) pencil. A choice of two gram weights: 300g/m2 (medium texture) and 355g/m2 (rough grain).

Rembrandt Pastel Paper
Light quality fine pastel paper (130g/m2) with a fine textured surface, very suitable for working with all kinds of pastels (dry and oil pastels). The pad contains seven frequently used colours: white, cream, ochre, grey, umber, deep green and black.

Rembrandt Drawing Paper
Wood-free paper (165g/m2) with a light texture. Sturdy enough for all kinds of techniques with for example pastels, ink, (coloured) pencil, charcoal, gouache and acrylic colour.
